National Leadership Institute & BOD Meeting

This is the fall 2016 quarterly meeting of the SNMA Board of Directors and 2nd National Leadership Institute (NLI) for the 2016-2017 administrative year. IF YOU ARE A MEMBER, YOU WILL BE AKSED TO SIGN-IN IN ORDER FOR THE CORRECT FEE TO APPEAR. Non-members will be billed $35.

SNMA has a strong and important mission focusing on both the advancement of our membership and the betterment of our community. It is only through the efficient workings of our national officers that these goals will be met. With this in mind, National Leadership Institute (NLI) weekends help to promote a successful and cohesive team among SNMA Board members, while advancing the organizations mission objectives for members and non-members who attend.  To register, click on the link below. To obtain the member fee, you must sign-in.  On the registration form, click on the tab that says "Attendee Selections:  NLI-Member/Non-Member."  If you are not already an SNMA member and wish to join, complete a membership registration first. Then return to the NLI registration and complete it.

6:00 PM               Welcome Reception at local Restaurant


9:00 AM               Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Breakout leadership workshops (TBA)

1:00 PM               OSU College of Medicine – afternoon workshops; tour of OSU medical school facilities;

6:00 PM               The James, OSU Cancer Center


9:00 AM               Board of Directors Meeting, OSU College of Medicine

2:30 PM               Departures from OSU College of Medicine


Local shuttle service will be furnished between the above locations, but not to/from the airport.  A detailed schedule will be furnished prior to the meeting.

All individuals are responsible for their own lodging and for making their own reservations; SNMA does not cover travel costs.  For reservations at the hotel, register here:


The hotel’s special group rate for single/double accommodations is $119.00.  Sharing is encouraged.

The hotel’s cut-off date for making reservations at this rate is September 5, 2016. 

You may still be able to get a room after the cut-off date, but there is no guarantee that the same rate will be offered, so if your travel plans are uncertain, it is better to reserve now, even if you have to cancel later.  Be sure and also check the hotel’s cancellation policy.
