Region National Dues » Donate Online

SNMA regions only are required to pay $150 dues annually to the National Headquarters, which are due by January 15th of every year (HOD 1995). Regions that fail to meet this requirement will be invoiced and the amount owed payable within 30 days. Contributions to SNMA Region National Dues are open to SNMA regions only.

Jeffrey E. Sterling, MD, MPH, Endowment Fund » Donate Online 

The Jeffrey E. Sterling Fund honors Jeffrey E. Sterling, MD, MPH, Chairperson Emeritus of SNMA and founder of the Minority Association of Premedical Students (MAPS). The purpose of the fund is to provide a perpetual source of scholarships for minority Premedical students. The fund began with an initial donation of $50,000 from Dr. Sterling and after the Endowment of $100,000 is reached, scholarship funds will be generated from the interest.

Building Fund » Donate Online

This fund serves as a resource for SNMA National Headquarters, located in Washington, DC, building maintenance. This fund is used for expenses related to the headquarters building including maintenance.

General Endowment Fund » Donate Online

The General Endowment Fund serves to support general SNMA operations.

Community Service Fund » Donate Online

The Community Service Fund is designed to support the programmatic agenda of SNMA and provide chapters with financial support in the form of grants to conduct community service activities focusing on health prevention and education. Grant proposals are submitted to the National Community Service Committee and reviewed with input from the regional directors and community service liaisons.

Dr. Wilbert C. Jordan Research Forum Fund » Donate Online

The Dr. Wilbert C. Jordan Forum was established to extend research opportunities to SNMA student members, enable them to display their scientific competence and to award them for their academic and research accomplishments. Since its inception more than 35 years ago, more than $150,000 has been awarded to Research Forum participants. The Research Forum is open to all SNMA student members who have completed research prior to or during medical school.
