Seventh Annual NAF Conference Focuses on Advocacy

Posted By Cynthia Bell, Thursday, February 5, 2015

Join the HPLA Committee in its efforts to increase awareness of current efforts to advocate for minority and underserved communities during the 2015 National Advocacy Forum (NAF) which will be held on March 8-9 in Washington, DC. “Back to the Basics: Advancing Policy and Leading Communities” is the theme of our seventh annual NAF conference, hosted by the Health Policy and Legislative Affairs (HPLA) Committee.

The two-day forum is designed to educate, challenge and build advocacy skills. Participants will visit members of Congress and hear from a host of speakers on topics that will include an overview of health policy, advocacy for medical student education, medical practice and policy, making your message matter, community engagement, public health research, diversity in medical education and much more.

Registration closes on February 15, so click here today to register. For more information, click here or contact healthpolicy@snma.org.

Look for upcoming “Grand Rounds” containing more information about AMEC 2015, SNMA programs, alumni activities and much more. If you have an idea for “Grand Rounds,” email marketing@snma.org.
