Meet the Board with Jeniffer Okungbowa-Ikponmwosa

The 2017 SNMA Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC) was held in Atlanta, GA on April 12th - 17th. It was at this convention that Ms. Jeniffer Okungbowa-Ikponmwosa was appointed to the position of Health Policy and Legislative Affairs Co-Chairperson. At the 2017 AMEC, medical students and professionals gathered to attend a wide range of educational and networking events. It is consistently the largest gathering of underrepresented, minority medical students at any time of the year in any place across the nation.

About Jeniffer

Jeniffer was born in Edo State in Nigeria and raised in Toronto, ON, Canada. She attended St. Edmund Campion Catholic Secondary School in Brampton, ON. Upon completing high school, she attended the University of Michigan-Flint where she earned her Bachelors in Science.Jeniffer also obtained a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan while simultaneously completing her first two years of medical school.
